It’s not a secret that I love simple tee’s to tone down a crazy printed pants like the panther one I’m wearing. This white T-shirt from Essentiel is my latest addition to my white tee collection and I love it for its quirky details.
You’ll find a bright red shrimp printed on the front and a Portugese tale about this unlucky shrimp on the back.
My Portugese is quite rusty (non-existing 😜), so Google translate was the only way to go. The tale is about a shrimp who’s on a journey to find happiness. On his path he encounters several fish, who sell the shrimp more speed, so he can reach his goal faster. In the end, the shrimp meets a shark. The shark tells him that he can find gold if he swims into the shark’s mouth.
That’s what the shrimp did and, obviously, nobody ever saw him again.
This tale shows us that you can’t buy happiness. There are no shortcuts in life, so if you want to reach a goal, you have to work hard to get there. It’s important to be humble, to be satisfied with and to realise what you have. Count your blessings ✨🦐✨
