Lime energy bar

In the recipe for this energy bar I've added some lime juice to freshen things up. Lime juice in an energy bar? Yes! It gives the bars a fresh kick, so trust me, you won't regret it! Healthy energy, gluten-, dairy- and wheat free and a party for your tastebuds. Take your kitchen machine, mix those ingredients en get these fresh energy bars ready in minutes!


Time: 6 minutes

Groceries for 4 bars

45g dates

45g cashews

25g pistachios

2 tbsp fresh lime juice

How to?

  • Keep 20 grams of cashews to the side and put all your other ingredients in your kitchen machine
  • Mix everything together until the ingredients slightly stick together
  • Add the rest of your cashews and mix again for some seconds
  • Take the mixture and divide them into 4 equal bars
  • Wrap them into foil or baking paper

You can keep the bars for about a week in a dark, dry and cold place and depend on them whenever you're in need of a healthy energy boost! Enjoy!!
