Salmon sashimi tartare

22-01-2016, by Mieke

Serve this dish as a starter and surprise your guests with taste and lightness. Plus, by keeping it simple, you don't have to stay in the kitchen all day, nor during the dinner itself, Yay!

Time: 10 - 15 minutes

Groceries for 2 servings:

Fresh salmon 200 g
Soy sauce 2 tsp
Lemon 1/4
Avocado 1 pc
Sesame seeds 2 tbsp

How to? (for 2 servings)

  • Dress two small cups with foil (You can also use a cooking ring, thats even easier. However, I didn't have one at hand)
  • Cut away the skin of the salmon and cut the salmon in cubes
  • Mix your salmon cubes together with 2 tea spoons of soy sauce and the juice of 1/4 of a lemon
  • Press the salmon mixture into your cups
  • (If you want to prepare the dish for a dinner, leave the cups in the fridge and finish the rest of it during dinner)
  • Mash half of the avocado with a fork and divide it over your 2 cups
  • Cut the other half of the avocado in thin slices and roll them through your sesame seeds
  • Turn the cups upside down on your plates, take away the cups and get rid of the foil
  • Garnish your salmon tartare with the sesame avocado

Ready to serve!
